20 Healthy Ways to Cope with Stress

     Hey lovelies, we have about a month left until school starts up again and I wanted to remind you guys that this is a place where you can find some good stress relief. We all say that we know how to cope with stress but when you’re in a situation where you’re about to have a mental breakdown due to stress, you’re not exactly thinking about how to handle it. So here I am to support you whenever you need me. 

  1. Exercise 
  2. Take a walk 
  3. Dance it out 
  4. Go to lunch or dinner with friends 
  5. Join a club 
  6. Volunteer 
  7. Hydrate
  8. Write positive things about yourself 
  9. Set “worry periods” and only stress out at those times 
  10. Make a list of what you’re thankful for 
  11. Meditate
  12. Go somewhere to interact with an animal 
  13. Get a massage
  14. Watch a comedy 
  15. Drink some herbal tea
  16. Put on some eye masks and happy music 
  17. Celebrate what’s working 
  18. Take a hot bath with essential oils 
  19. Write how you feel 
  20. Remember how far you’ve come
